Download LXLE 14.04
Once you have your downloaded "iso" image of LXLE in either the 32bit or 64bit version, you will need to burn this to a DVD. For software that can do this, search for "dvd iso burning software" in the search box located above. Your system may already have DVD burning software installed such as "Brasero, K3B, Nero, CDBurnerXP or Roxio". Once you have burned your "iso" image of LXLE to your DVD, you will need to leave the DVD in the DVD drive and reboot your system (Assuming this is the intended PC). As your computer reboots, you will need to press the appropriate key to access your system's BIOS settings. On many computers this key will be either "F8", "F11" or "F12". Most systems will display the a message indicating which key needs to be pressed. Once you have access to your BIOS settings, you will need to modify the boot order of your system to boot from CD/DVD first. Once you have made this change, you can reboot your system and follow the settings below.
Start the Installer Process
To start the LXLE installer directly, select the "install" option. Alternatively, you may select to boot into a live environment where you can try LXLE first without installing. If you choose this option, you can then install by clicking on the "Install" icon on the desktop. In this example, we have gone with the direct installation option.
Select the language to be used during the LXLE installation process.

Choose the option to install 3rd party software for MP3 support. You may also choose to download updates during the installation, however, I would recommend applying any updates after the installation.

Here we are going to choose the default option "Erase disk and install LXLE". You can however choose to encrypt your disk for added security. This is always advisable if your device is a Laptop.

Select your location, this information is used for your time Zone settings. In the example London has been automatically chosen for my location.
Select Keyboard Layout
Select your Keyboard Layout. In this example English (UK) has been chosen. You may also type into the test box to test your chosen settings.
Who are you?
Here you select the first username and the hostname you would like your system to use. You are also asked to enter your password for the new user account. It is recommended that you also choose the option to "require password to log in" for added security. (This is the default option)
Installation files are copied to your chosen disk (This can take a while). Hardware detection automatically takes place along with installation of the GRUB bootloader.
